High Country Chorale is a non audition, mixed-voice community choral group with singers from Calgary SW/SE, as well as the Foothills communities of Priddis, Turner Valley, Redwood Meadows, Okotoks and points beyond.
We practice at Red Deer Lake United Church, located on Highway 22X west of Spruce Meadows, Silverado and Bridlewood. We meet Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm -9:00pm, and on the second Tuesday of the month we finish early so we can social together.
We run two sessions a year and conclude each session with a ninety minute concert at the church. The chorus also sings at seniors lodges, care facilities, community celebrations , gospel music nights, and occasionally at other venues such as Heritage Park and Spruce Meadows, as the opportunity arises.
